In Buddhist temples there are various types of statues. Can you explain the differences?

Nice insight into the religion.I've never cared to associate this whole relationship thing with a deity. It feels very personal and strong now that I think about it.

Hello soup, thank you for your comment.

After writing this essay, I really would like to visit Kyoto and Nara. This is my spritual hometown, I think. Everytime I go there, I have discovered something new. :)

I have been fascinated with buddhist shrines too, but haven't gotten to visit one. I would love to travel to Tibet and explore the buddhist architecture there.Someday, when the time comes for it, it'll happen.

By the way, I'm a media student who's specializing in 3D animation at my final year in college. We were given a project in it to make a walk-through animation of any place. Coincidentally, I had decided to do one on the Heian Jingū shrine in Kyoto. I'm still collecting information on it. Since you have visited a few shrines, would you have any information on the basic interior of the shrines, their build and significance? Any data would be helpful. Hope I'm not troubling you with this.

Hi soup, thank you again for your comment.

You are collecting infomation of shrine, especially Heian Jingu. OK, I will search a few shrines and of course Heian Jingu. I will upload the pictures. But please wait for a moment.

Since Kyoto is still cold until mid-March, I will go there when cherry begins to bloom. ;-)

thank you!
hey, I wouldn't mind looking at the pictures of other shrines also...just to know:-)
