Now I have been reading again Anne of Green Gables.
I already read Anne of Green Gables with LingQ system 2 years ago.
However as I found there are a lot of good expression in this book, I have decided to read again, reviewing good expression and words, this interesting girl's story.
Thanks to contribution from other learners of LingQ, we have huge volume of contents in the library! I cannot help devour them! I have a lot of interesting content in English and French in my workdesk! I am looking forward to reading them!

Yes, Anne has a lot of energy even though her life in the beginning was bitter. I think this book is good for English learning because it contains a lot of good expression and less of slangs. :-)

To tell the truth, I am not good at reading novels written in English, though I like Japanese ones very much.
Maybe, Anne of Green Gables is the one I should try. I will visit LingQ and try soon.

I am not good at reading classical novels in English, either. I have tried to read "Christmas Carol" by Dickens. It is so difficult to understand because I don't know English tradition on Christmas holiday. I also find a little bit difficult when I read the discription about nature around Green Gables in Anne book. But it is fun to read what Anne said! She is really interesting girl! :-)
I read this a little bit before , but gave up because it was too difficult!

Did you know this novel is popular in Japan because it is the first book translated from English to Japanese? Also, This place has about 60000 tourists every year and one fifth of them are Japanese!

Now I have just finished Chapter 20 of Anne of Green Gables! I would like to go P.E.I in Canada!
