I am sure I have been learning English earnestly with the Linguist since last summer.
I am convinced that the systems that the system's elements, such as task bar, measure section the task bar and the measure section, are well organized to motivate learners. I am always to happy to see the line graph with an upward-sloping curve to represent my effort.
Recently I have taken constantly been constantly taking review tests of phrases that I did not like to take. I realize the immense values in review test value of the review tests when I join the speaking sessions. I think everything necessary for learning English is in the Linguist.
However, I have a only problem with the Linguist only one problem with The Linguist. That is the discussion time. Most of all the group discussions start at midnight or very early in the morning. Although I really want to join the a discussion to talk about something interesting with other learners across the globe, I cannot join it. In addition, while I have tried to wake up late to join the a discussion, I have notice I have been suffering from lack of sleeping then suffer from a lack of sleeping.
At first, I hesitated to plead much more because I know the staffs of the Linguist have made have been making a lot great deal of efforts to satisfy the user's needs. However, I have known other learners in Japan who have the same problem as I have. Therefore I have decided to ask of the tutors. I would really appreciate it if the a discussion could be set at five and nine in the morning to twelve noon of Japan time in Japanese time . I think many of the Japanese lerners who are housewives would be happy to sign them up sign up for them, including me.
If a discussion cannot be set in these time...... :(
Mmmmmm.....
To be honest, I did not do review test since I signed up the Linguist last year.
My learned phrase has been "0" for a long time because I did not do any test.
I thought Review test bothered me. I thought there was no use for me.
However, I realized that it is necessary to have much more vocabulary especially phrases for improving speaking ability.
Therefore I have decided to do review test.
I have decided to take at least 10 tests a day.
After taking a test, I always check the meaning of phrase and read the sentence at loud.
At first it was tough to take a test because I have already saved more than 1000 phrases in my database.
At first I thought that taking a phrase test and increasing number of my learned phrases is very uphill work.
For me, increasing number of my learned phrases is compared to climbing the Mount Everest!
Yes, it is tough. However I take notice to the phrase and manage to use them when I join a speaking session.
My expression is still limited, but I am sure that it has been much improved than ever before.
Through taking a review test of phrases, I am convinced that everyday working on review is one of key not only to enlarge my vocabulary but also to improve English proficiency.
Oh! I forgot French language!
Please tell me when the Linguist french version will launch? ;)
When I sign up the Linguist french version, I will be definitely one of eager learners doing review test from beginning. :)
The creche of my parish and a small creche putting in my house.
In the crech of my parish, Jesue is not born yet! :)
The priest will put the statue of baby Jesus in this evening Mass.
We will go to chrch tomorrow, so I will be able to post the picture of perfect creche on this Vox Blog! :)
Small creche made of ceramic were made by Trappistine nuns living in Imari (Kyusyu). So cute!
I wrote about a white board to write down what to do today.
However, I have just known an interesting site about "To Do List" by reading Nihon Keizai Newspaper.
You can also make your own "To Do List" on this site.
I already had a account and made my To Do List!
Wow! How I make a lot of task of learning English! I always write the ideal study schedule before launching. ; )
You will make it, too?
Recently, I finally bought the DVD of Anne of Green Gables and Finding Nemo.
My kid and I really enjoy watching two of them. Especially Finding Nemo. I try to watch it in English with the subtitle of English.
When I watched this movie, I noticed how I am resemble to a character who traveled with the father of Nemo.
It is Dorry. She suffer from short-term memory loss. She forget instantly the thing she said, memorized, and even the names of her family member.
I suffer from short-term memory loss as well as Dorry.
Of course I don't forget the name of my kids, husband and so forth : )
However, how I forget instantly the things I have to do for today!
I made a decision!
As I suffer from short-term memory loss and often tend to escape from serious way of learning, I try to write the things I have to do today on a small white board.
I write routine household chores ( cleaning the room with vacuum and dustcloth, hanging out the laundry ,fold the clothes neatly, putting them back to the closet, cooking, ) and things to do in English Learning ( read listen review etc) on the white boad with oil based ink pen.
When I do it, I make a line or write a "check" mark on the word with a erasable pen.
The below is my small wirte bord.
I would thank you if you tell me your opinion about this bord. I shoud add something more? I shoud change someting to much easily and comfortably see it?
Then, After doing something, I write check mark like that.
What? I had better just study and log in the Linguist not to take a long time to make such a dullsville (しょうもない)thing?
Mmmmm,,,, you are right! ;)
I read a book for kids which is "Miminasi Houichi" ( Houichi the earless)
It is a kind of tale about ghosts.
My kids really enjoyed listening and watching this picture book.
The next day, my son asked me to read the tale of the Heike and explain the history of Heike and Genji.
OH! it is so difficult to explain to kids the history of Heike and Genji ( history about 900 years ago )
I try to read the references about this period to expain for them using simple words.
For me, it is also good practice because I have a good chance to review again the history of Japan!
I really enjoy participating in the group discussion with Julie, Marianne, Sean and Louis.
I participate in this discussion at midnight of Saturday.
At Friday night, around 20:30, I take my kids to the bed room ( Futon room (*´▽`*) ) and read some picture books for them. I wait for them fall asleep in this room. Sometimes, I fall asleep with them when I am tired. (# ^.^ #)
I go back to PC and participate in the discussion until 1 o'clock in the morning. I really enjoy talking with them. However I have a problem. After the discussion, I become wide awake because I really enjoy it and get excited. : )
So, I cannot sleep at all after the discussion! Therefore I try to write something on this Vox blog and to log in the Linguist to read something. :)
I have been suffering from the Depression since delivering of the child.
I especially am sensitive to the dark winter... : )
However, I have known a wonderful tool, and have an intention to buy it through the internet!
I have known it from the news Reuter (again! )
But, if I wear on these glasses, I will be an odd woman (へんなおばちゃん)?
Let's buy it to get through the dark winter!
Ummm...! How I love "reuter.com"!
There are many interesting news in this site!
For example..
Israel gets a taste of Japan ( Super fishy Japanese restaurant with garden in Israel めっちゃあやしい日本料理と日本家屋、庭園)
I keep on checking the interesting news of the Reuter... !!! :)
I found an interesting article with video from Reuter.
Please take a look at this site!

At first, I think how odd french man is!
French man who lives in New York has a Japanese tea house in his house.
In addition he attempts to hold a tea ceremony outside of his house with a open-air tea house which is movable and easy to install in order to invite strangers and want them to have a relax time!
As the tea ceremony master said, this odd....(not odd, but interesting) french man opened the door of Japanese culture and invite everyone to interesting culture!
I like him!
My cat who lives in the house of my mother was dead today. She was 18 years and 5 months old!
I adopted her when I was a student. She is unpedigreed. She has gray hair ( Her mother has black hair. So her father has white hair? :) ) She looked like pedigreed Russian Blue.
When she was young, she used to hide under the sofa and she always extended her arm from there, and tried to scratch the legs near the sofa...
She always climbed the curtain when she got excited...
She never stolen the foods on the table...
She hunt quite a few sparrows....(Oh~!)
I used to sleep with her in the winter....( Since she warmed me, I always overslept!)
Even in the morning of the Great Hanshin Earthquake, I was with her...
She is always in the house of my mother. She is my sister...
She was dead today.... I have a lot of good memory of her....
She was cremated this afternoon. They said her bones were so white and beautiful.
I attempted to ask my mom to cut her hair before cremation, but it is not necessary of me. Because I already have a lot of good memory of her.
Adieu my dear cat, Mi-chan.
Au revoir au ciel!!
See you again in the heaven!
